My story

Meet Shaggy Bear: foster needed Foster needed or even possible foster-to-adopt situation needed! This happy, adorable furball is friendly with other dogs, loves playing with one of the big guys he's met, loves people and going for long walks... He's an enthusiastic, busy guy, and although he enjoys a good cuddle, he's not really a lap dog at this point of his life. We're looking for a foster home with someone who could help this pup figure out a potty routine, etc. He shouldn't be left for long periods of time, and he'll likely need crated whenever left alone for the time being. He has been currently settling in and getting necessary vet care, plus some extra TLC, including grooming, as our volunteers dote on him and make sure he is enjoying the good life. (His adopter will need his teeth cleaned/examined, he needs some help in that area.) So far he's showing us that he's an absolutely sweetheart. He came in with Slim, a skinny beagle mix, but we've discovered outgoing guy Shaggy Bear is ready to take on the world all on his own or with a new pal.
