My story

Meet Shaggy Bear This happy, adorable furball is friendly with other dogs, loves playing and cuddling and going on long walks (at least 2 miles every day! and he keeps up no problem!) with his big foster pup brother. He's an enthusiastic, busy guy, and although he enjoys a good snuggle, he's not really a lap dog at this point of his life. He's about 3 years old. He shouldn't be left for long periods of time as his little bladder is going to need a break midday, so he'd do best with someone who can be home or can drop by every few hours to let him outside. He has been getting routine vet care, plus some extra TLC, including grooming, as our volunteers and a devoted foster care provider dote on him and make sure he is enjoying the good life. Note: His adopter will need his teeth cleaned/examined, as he needs some help in that area. So far he's showing us that he's an absolutely sweetheart. He came in with Slim/Remi, a skinny beagle/terrier mix, but we've discovered outgoing guy Shaggy Bear is ready to take on the world all on his own or with a new pal.
