My story

Rory is a beautiful girl with a sleek black coat and a spirit that has triumphed over hardship. She was found by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, starving and skin-and-bones, barely surviving on her own. With love, patience, and proper care, Rory was brought back to health — and now she’s ready to find her forever home. She is about 1 year and she weighs about 47lbs.  This sweet soul may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her just a little time and she’ll quickly warm up, showing you just how deeply grateful she is to have been rescued. Once she feels safe, Rory's playful, affectionate nature truly shines through. She absolutely adores other dogs and would love a home where she has a furry friend to romp around with. Rory’s favorite pastimes include running in the yard, playing with toys and sticks, and especially a good game of tug-of-war with a rope — it’s her ultimate favorite! Rory is the perfect mix of gentle and playful, resilient and loving. She’s looking for a family who will give her the love she deserves and the joyful life she’s waited so long for.
