My story

NAME: Doki Age: 7 years Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Male Weight: 10 lbs Location: Rice Lake, ON Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Good on leash House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Good with children, dog savvy cats, calm dogs Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: Underbite Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Doki is a sweet, fun-loving little guy with the most adorable underbite and a heart full of love. He adores his people unconditionally and will happily be your best friend for life. Doki loves to follow you everywhere and even enjoys being carried like a puppy. He’s also a chatty boy who makes cute little noises on walks—never barking, just “talking” to you. He is house trained (may need reminders at first) and does well in his crate when left alone. Doki prefers to head outside first thing in the morning and eat afterward—ideally with you nearby while he enjoys his meal. He loves walks, runs, and outdoor time, and is fantastic on leash with no real pulling. He’s not prey driven and has been fine around chickens, ducks, and pigs (Being fostered on a farm). Doki enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those with passive personalities, and has been gentle around an 18-month-old child. With cats, he may give chase but listens well to firm direction. He’s very social, adores people, rides calmly in the car, and sleeps soundly in his dog bed (never jumping on furniture). Doki would do best in a home where someone is around often, but he can adjust if his people work. This little boy just wants love—and he has endless love to give in return. All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.
