My story

ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Audrey Age: 8 months old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo, Hound mix Colour: White Weight: 12kg / 26.5lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY  Hi there! My name is Audrey, and I’m one very special girl with an incredible story of survival. I was rescued from an illegal dog meat farm, just moments away from a heartbreaking fate, but thankfully I was saved in time. Even though I’m still so young, I’ve already faced challenges that no dog should ever have to endure. But here’s the amazing part—I never let those hardships dim my light or take away the spark in my heart!   I’m a resilient, loving soul with so much affection to give, and now I’m ready to leave my past behind and find the forever family I’ve been dreaming of. Could it be you?   MY HEALTH  Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues.    MY PERSONALITY  Volunteers and staff say I always have a big smile on my face, no matter what! I’m such a sweet girl who absolutely loves receiving attention and affection from people. It’s truly a miracle that, despite my dark and difficult past, I still remain so trusting and full of love for humans. I adore running around and exploring everything around me—I’m curious about the world and love making every moment an adventure. Sometimes I get the funniest zoomies, bolting around with joy, and then I suddenly flop down to rest, which always makes everyone laugh at my goofy, playful nature.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS  With People: I’m a super friendly pup who loves people! I trust easily and will even roll over to show my belly the first time we meet. You can scoop me up in your arms, and I’ll happily soak up all the pets and affection you have to give. I’ll gladly take treats from your hand and do my best to be your new best friend. I’m still young and curious, so I’m learning all about the big world around me every day. With Dogs:  I’m also very friendly with other dogs! I love greeting new dog friends and playing with them, especially pups my size or smaller. If another dog is pushy or a little rude, I don’t make a fuss—I just walk away politely. Even though I’m still a young pup, I already know my manners! Since I tend to lean on and learn from my dog friends, I’ll do best in a home with another dog sibling I can bond with and grow alongside. With Cats:  I don’t have much experience living with cats yet, so my exact reaction is still unknown. But since I’m young, curious, and adaptable, I believe I could learn to coexist well with the right introductions. When I see cats during walks, I usually stay calm and focus on my handler. I may glance at them out of curiosity, but then I quickly move along my way.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate to high energy level, which is perfectly normal for a young pup like me! I need regular playtime and exercise to burn off my energy, and once I’ve had my fun, I’m more than happy to snuggle up indoors and relax by your side.    TRAINING & HABITS I walk nicely on leash and love following my handler’s lead, though I can get excited and pull toward things that catch my attention. I do best in quieter areas but still need a little help building confidence on busier streets, as loud car noises can startle me. For my safety, it’s best if I’m double-leashed to both a harness and collar during walks. I’m easygoing with food and don’t guard against other dogs or people. I rarely bark—usually only when I’m looking for attention. I’m still learning how to settle calmly in my kennel, so I may whine a little at first, but I adjust with time. I’m comfortable pottying both indoors and outdoors, and with a consistent walk routine, I’m likely to prefer going outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment where I can learn, explore, and grow into a well-behaved young adult. A family that enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time together. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that understands I’m a young pup and I will need continued guidance in basic obedience training as I learn to become more confident of the world. Ideally a home with another dog sibling – but not an absolute requirement.    SPECIAL NOTES  Volunteers and staff often say I’m as gentle as I am beautiful. Beneath my sweet smile is a heart that’s full of love and hope, just waiting to be shared. I adore playing with my friend Mountain, but what I dream of most is finding a family of my very own. After everything I’ve been through, I’m ready to leave my past behind and discover what it truly means to be safe, cherished, and loved forever.     For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!
