My story

Tallulah is a gorgeous 1-year-old calico tabby with a heart just as warm as her soft, colorful coat. This sweet girl is all about love and snuggles — if you’re looking for a kitty who will curl up in your lap and soak up all the attention you’re willing to give, Tallulah is your match! Not only is she affectionate and gentle, but she’s also quite talkative. She loves to “chat” with her people and will happily keep you company with her sweet meows and chirps. Tallulah may feel a bit overwhelmed in a home with lots of other cats, but she could do well coexisting with a calm, respectful feline friend who understands her need for space. Whether you’re binge-watching a show, reading a good book, or just relaxing after a long day, Tallulah will be right there, ready to purr, cuddle, and carry on a little conversation. If you’ve been dreaming of a loyal, loving companion who will keep both your lap and your heart full, Tallulah is ready to bring warmth, chatter, and endless affection to your home. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
