My story

Meet Skylar! Skylar is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees/Poodle mix who recently joined us after her owner was no longer able to care for her. We’re still getting to know her, but what we’ve seen so far is wonderful! Skylar has a moderate-to-high energy level and is both dog- and kid-friendly. She’s crate trained and already knows several commands including Sit, Go Potty, Outside, Cage, and Eat. While she can be timid when meeting new people, a little patience goes a long way—once she feels safe, her gentle, loving nature begins to shine. She’s just settling in, but we can already tell she’ll make a loyal and special companion for the right family. Skylar weighs 43lbs and is approximately 3 years old (est. birth date 09/23/2022). Skylar has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Skylar's adoption fee is $510. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
