Quick Facts Name: Flower Age: 8 months old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Colour: Light brown Weight: 13kg / 28.6lbs Microchipped: Yes   My Rescue Story Hi there! My name is Flower, and just like my name, I’m ready to bloom into the beautiful life I was always meant to have. I was rescued from an illegal puppy meat farm, where my days were dark and my future was uncertain. I was in terrible condition and heartbreakingly close to being slaughtered—but thankfully, I was saved just in time. Now, with a second chance at life, I’m learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for. More than anything, I’m ready to find my forever family who will help me blossom into the sweet, happy dog I’ve always wanted to be.   My Health Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues.   My Personality I got my name Flower because I’m as sweet and pretty as one! In fact, I’m even more beautiful in person, and my bright smile is sure to brighten your day. I’ve spent time living in foster homes in Korea, so I already have experience interacting with people and learning what it’s like to be part of a family. Everyone who meets me says I have so much love to give—and it’s true! I adore giving affection and soaking up cuddles whenever I can. I’m also a smart girl; one of my favorite tricks is showing off my perfect “sit.” And when I’m not winning hearts with my sweetness, I’m happily entertaining myself with my toys.   My Social Skills With People: I’m super friendly with everyone I meet! I absolutely love receiving pets and affection, and I’ll happily roll over to show you my belly—even if we’ve just met. I’m such a trusting, gentle soul that I even let people pick me up and snuggle me close. With Dogs: I’m a social butterfly and love meeting new dog friends! Playtime is one of my favorite things, and I usually get along best with pups my size or smaller. Even if another dog is being pushy, I’d rather avoid the drama and simply walk away. I feel happiest and most confident when I have a dog friend by my side, so I’d do best in a home with another furry sibling to keep me company and share life with. With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet so my reaction is unknown.   Energy Level I have a moderate to high energy level, just like most young pups! I love spending time outdoors—going for walks, exploring, and soaking up the sunshine. I sometimes get little bursts of playful energy, but once I’ve had my exercise, I’m more than happy to snuggle up indoors and enjoy some cozy rest by your side.   Training & Habits I have some good leash-walking experience! While I can pull here and there when I get excited, I generally follow my handler’s lead well. I feel most comfortable in quieter areas since busy streets and loud noises, like cars, can be a little scary for me. I’m not protective over my food and don’t guard it from people or other dogs. I’m also a quiet pup who rarely barks—usually only when I’m asking for some attention. I’m still learning how to rest calmly in my kennel and may whine a little at first, but with patience I settle down. I know how to potty both indoors and outdoors, though with a consistent walk schedule I’ll happily adjust to outdoor potty only.   My Ideal Home I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment where I can settle and come out of my shell. A family that enjoys indoor & outdoor activities and spending quality time together. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that is understanding of my neglected past and that I’m a young pup and will need more guidance with basic obedience training. Ideally a home with another dog sibling – not an absolute requirement.    Special Notes  Even though I had such a rough start in life, I’m ready to leave the past behind and blossom into the loving, loyal pup I was always meant to be. Volunteers and staff say I’m one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet, and I just can’t wait to share all the love I’ve been saving for my forever family. I know with patience, kindness, and a little guidance, I’ll continue to grow into the best companion you could ask for.
