My story

Meet Ruby – A Sweet & Loving Lapdog in Search of Her Forever Home 💖🐾 Ruby is a gentle soul who wants to meet and greet new people and dogs but is still a little hesitant. With continued socialization and patience, she’ll learn to fully trust and shine. She hasn’t been around cats, so we’re not sure how she’d do with them. This affectionate girl loves being close to her human—especially curled up in your lap. She enjoys car rides, short walks, and is excellent on a leash. Ruby is food motivated, making her a quick study for basic training like “sit” and “stay.” She’s also potty trained, though not crate trained. Ruby will need a week or two to adjust to a new home and routine, but once she settles in, you’ll discover a loving, sweet, and devoted companion. Why you’ll love Ruby:

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
