My story

Abby is a three-year-old, 55-pound Australian Shepherd mix who will be as loyal as her breed’s reputation. At first, she can be a little cautious, taking her time to size up new people and surroundings. But once she knows she’s safe, Abby’s affectionate and gentle personality shines through. She enjoys attention and likes to be with people she has come to know. She will lean in for pets and cuddles once she trusts you. Playing fetch and tug are her preferred pastimes. Abby is a smart girl who’s already learning basic commands like “sit” and is eager to keep learning. With her intelligence and eagerness to please, she’ll thrive in a home that provides consistent training and positive reinforcement. Like many Heelers, she’ll benefit from regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy and balanced. Abby’s $250 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
