My story

Hi, I’m Max. 🐾 I’m an 8-month-old Jindo mix boy, weighing around 9kg (about 20 lbs). Right now, I’m learning what it means to be without my mom and siblings for the very first time. Everything is new, a little scary… but I’m doing my best to be brave. 🧡 A Gentle, Sensitive Soul I’ll be honest — I’m not the boldest pup in the shelter. I can be really shy, and when I meet strangers, I might bark loudly at first. It’s not because I’m angry — I’m just unsure and trying to protect myself in this big, confusing world. But here’s the thing: when I start to see the same faces every day, I slowly let my guard down. I start wagging my tail. I start following you with curious eyes. Give me a little time, and I’ll give you all the love I’ve been holding back. 🐕 Social with the Right Friends I get along well with other dogs around my size — we can play, learn, and grow together. Big dogs still make me nervous, but I’m working on building my confidence. If you have a friendly, balanced dog at home, I’d love that — I learn best by watching and following others. Honestly, I’d do better in a home with another dog, rather than being the only one. 🚶‍♂️ Baby Steps into the World Walks are still a bit overwhelming for me, so sometimes I stop and hesitate. I haven’t had many chances to explore the world yet, so I need someone who will move at my pace — slowly, gently, and with lots of encouragement. Every day, I get a little braver. And yep — I’m still working on potty training and other puppy basics. But I’m eager to learn and grow, especially with someone who can show me what love, safety, and home really feel like. 💛 What I Need Most A patient and kind family who won’t rush me A calm, well-socialized dog sibling to help guide me A gentle routine and lots of positive reinforcement Understanding, time, and love A forever home where I’ll never feel scared or alone again I may be shy at first, but I promise — once I trust you, I’ll be your quiet, loyal shadow.
