My story

Now that her babies are safe, she’s waiting for a family of her own. Salgoo currently lives at our boarding house, where she spends her days with other rescue dogs. Personality & Socialization Salgoo is a gentle, affectionate, and sociable girl with a warm personality that shines. She has a medium energy level, playful and lively but not overly demanding. She gets along very well with other dogs, especially those that are friendly and calm like her. While she tends to avoid dogs that are too dominant or pushy, she’s generally comfortable around most friendly dogs. With people, Salgoo is an absolute sweetheart. She’s very loving, cuddly, and eager for attention. She loves being close to her humans and has a way of making everyone around her smile. Smart and intuitive, she learns quickly and understands routines well. Salgoo is not shy around strangers and friendly with both men and women. Behaviours Salgoo is an easygoing and well-mannered girl. She behaves well during baths, enjoys car rides, and walks nicely on a leash. She hasn’t shown any destructive behaviors, but she doesn’t like being left alone for long periods. Her ideal home would be with someone who works from home or has another gentle dog companion around her size to keep her company. Health & Diet When Salgoo was rescued, she was found to have heartworms. But after completing her treatment, she’s now healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. She eats dry food twice a day and has shown no signs of allergies. Ideal Home Salgoo would do best with a family that can spend lots of time with her. She thrives on companionship and would be happiest in a home where she’s not left alone for long hours. A home with another friendly dog would be a wonderful bonus. Salgoo is a loyal, loving, and smart girl who will bring so much joy and warmth to her forever family.
