My story

**Our team and foster families are taking some much-needed family time! We’re on fall break and will not be responding to texts, emails, or applications until October 18. You’re welcome to submit an application in the meantime, but please know that we won’t be in touch until we return.** At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. Mop is a loving Miniature Schnauzer who wins over everyone he meets. He adores kids, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and has even done great with the cats in his foster home. He’s a champ at the groomer and loves being pampered, always looking sharp with his signature Schnauzer charm. Mop’s affectionate nature and easygoing personality make him the perfect family dog—loyal, gentle, and ready to fill your home with love and laughter. Mop’s adoption donation includes his age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, neuter, groom, microchip, collar and leash. Apply below to adopt Mop. We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
