My story

Sugar is a fourteen-year-old, 11-pound Long Coated Chihuahua who is as sweet as her name would suggest. This lovely lady spent her entire life in one home, safe and secure, until her owner’s living situation changed and she could no longer be cared for. Now, her world has shifted, and she’s looking for a kind soul to help her find her footing again. Sugar is understandably timid at first, but with patience and a gentle touch, she begins to show her sweet, trusting nature. She dreams of a calm, quiet home where she can spend her golden years curled up in a cozy blanket or nestled in a welcoming lap. Despite her age, Sugar is in good health. She’s recently had a dental cleaning, had a few teeth removed, and is feeling her best. She doesn’t ask for much, but Sugar gives everything she has: quiet companionship, soulful eyes, and a heart full of love. If you have a soft spot for seniors and would like to welcome one into your life, Sugar is ready to be your little shadow and your faithful friend.
