My story

**Our team and foster families are taking some much-needed family time! We’re on fall break and will not be responding to texts, emails, or applications until October 18. You’re welcome to submit an application in the meantime, but please know that we won’t be in touch until we return.** At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. Milly is a precious little Mexican Hairless girl with a heart as big as they come. She is incredibly sweet and absolutely adores people, lighting up the moment she’s near them. Milly is fantastic with kids, loves other dogs, and is comfortable being left home alone, though she’ll never turn down extra time with her family. Because of her petite size, she needs a home that will be gentle and mindful of her. Milly came from a breeding mill and truly deserves the world — now she’s ready for a forever family who will love and cherish her for the rest of her life. Milly’s adoption donation includes her age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, spay, microchip, collar and leash. Apply below to adopt Milly. We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
