My story

Hi, I’m May – a big-hearted girl looking for a second chance at love! I’m a 4-year-old Saint Bernard mix with a gentle soul and a whole lot of fluff! I spent three long months at the pound waiting for someone to come for me… but no one ever did. Thankfully, Central Arizona Animal Rescue stepped in and gave me a safe place to stay while I wait for my forever family to find me. I’m spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations, so I’m ready to go home today! I’m not quite as big as a purebred Saint Bernard, but I’m still a pretty big girl—and yes, I’ll need a bit more grooming than those short-coated pups. But trust me, I’m worth the extra brush time! We’re not sure how I feel about cats since there aren’t any here, and we don’t know for sure if I’m house-trained. But I act like I was someone’s pet before, so chances are good that I know my way around a home. I’m calm, sweet, and just waiting for someone to see how special I am. Want to meet me? I’d love that!
