Monkey

My story

Rescued only 5 days prior to her euthanasia date nearly a year ago, sweet Monkey is still looking for her forever home. She is well trained, has shown to be safe with people and children, and has a playful and joyful spirit in about everything she does. Monkey needs an experienced adopter because she can be reactive towards other dogs, mainly when she is on leash. When she is with her trainer, she is not reactive. I have worked hard with her and have even taught her how to detect my low glucose levels and to alert me to them. I know if Monkey finds her person, someone who is passionate about working with dogs similar to her, that she will thrive.
