Missy’s story began in heartbreak—dumped in an industrial park and nearly hit by traffic, she was saved by a kind warehouse worker who saw the light in her eyes and knew she was meant for more. Despite her rough start, this 3-year-old Shepherd mix has held onto her happy, affectionate nature and is eager to start fresh in a loving home. At just under 50 pounds, Missy is the perfect medium-large size companion. She’s smart, loyal, and incredibly people-oriented—true to her Shepherd roots. She knows basic commands, thrives on praise, and adores being part of family life. Missy has a medium-to-high energy level and would flourish in a home with regular walks, playtime, and room to run. Fetch is her absolute favorite, and she proudly carries around her plush toys with a happy tail wag and a smile. She does wonderfully with children and other dogs, making her an excellent family companion. The only thing Missy asks? A cat-free home. Her herding instincts make her want to chase small animals, but with dogs and people, she’s nothing but loving and gentle. Healthy, spayed, and heartworm negative, Missy is ready to step into the happy life she was always meant to have.
