My story

At around 10 years old, Harrison may be a senior, but he’s got the most endearing spark about him. Found running the streets as a stray, this tiny gentleman has clearly seen a lot in his lifetime — and while he’s still learning to trust, his sweet soul shines through in the funniest ways. Harrison is what we like to call fearful avoidant with flair — he’ll get so excited to see you, tail wagging a mile a minute, but then adorably scurry away the second you try to say hello. It’s as if he really wants to love you… he just hasn’t quite figured out how yet. Watching him navigate that dance of wanting affection while still keeping his distance has completely stolen our hearts. As we’ve gotten to know him, his personality has begun to blossom, and we know that in the right home — one filled with patience, understanding, and love — he’ll continue to come out of his shell and show just how special he truly is.
