My story

🐾 Meet Checo! 🐾 Checo is a handsome fawn male pug, around 3–6 years old and weighing in at a perfect pug-sized 20 pounds. This sweet boy is full of personality — affectionate, playful, and easy to love. He enjoys attention but isn’t overly clingy, striking that perfect balance between cuddle bug and independent buddy. Checo loves short bursts of playtime and gets along especially well with other small dogs who enjoy gentle play. He’d be happiest in a home with another friendly pup to hang out with — or with someone home often who can give him plenty of love and company. He’s crate trained and learning to perfect his house manners. He’s been known to do a little “marking” in new environments but settles in quickly once he feels at home. Checo rides well in the car, walks nicely on leash, and has an all-around sweet, mellow energy. He’s affectionate without being demanding — a total heart-stealer who will make his new family smile every day. If you’re looking for a friendly, easygoing pug who’s ready to soak up your love (and maybe share a few treats), Checo might be your guy! Before adoption, this animal will undergo a comprehensive vetting process, which includes vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping.
