My story

Mary is one of the brave survivors from the devastating hoarding and abandonment case in Yuma, Arizona. Her early life was filled with neglect and uncertainty, but you’d never know it from the way she lights up when someone shows her kindness.Mary is a gentle, affectionate girl who’s slowly discovering the joys of belly rubs, cozy beds, and human companionship. She’s often found curled up next to a volunteer, soaking in every bit of love like she’s making up for lost time—and honestly, she is.She’s still learning what it means to be a dog in a loving home. Things like leash walking, playing with toys, and potty training are all new to her, but she’s eager to learn and thrives on positive attention. Despite everything, Mary is incredibly well-mannered and has a sweet, calming presence.She’s looking for a patient, loving family who can give her the stability and care she’s never had. In return, Mary will give you her whole heart—and we promise, it’s a really special one.
