My story

Sir Ukulele is a 6-year-old Rat Terrier with a stunning blue coat, long deer-like legs, and undeniable main-character energy. Currently 23 pounds (aiming for 15), he’s on a relatable wellness journey fueled by love… and snacks. The good stuff: • Extremely friendly — strangers are just future friends • Gives full-body, world-class hugs • Great with other dogs; would love a dog sibling • Cats and respectful kids are fine • Leash walks are great • Potty training in progress • Car rides fine (unless it’s to the vet) The honest stuff: • Doesn’t love being alone • Nail trims = absolutely not Sir Ukulele would thrive with someone who’s home often, has a calm, confident leadership style, and a sense of humor. He’s sensitive, affectionate, and deeply devoted — the kind of dog who will follow you everywhere, hug you like he means it, and make you laugh daily. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. We are located in Bloomington, IL We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state. Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt.
