At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. James is the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his people. He’s happiest when he’s by your side, soaking up love and giving it right back. This sweet boy came to us after his owner decided she no longer had time for him, but he hasn’t let that dim his gentle spirit or his big heart. James does amazing with kids of all ages, gets along great with other dogs, and has wonderful manners. He’s crate trained, dog door trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and even knows how to sit on command. He’s the full package—smart, affectionate, and ready to be someone’s forever best friend. James isn’t just looking for a home, he’s looking for a family to love for the rest of his life. Jame’s adoption donation includes his age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, neuter, microchip, collar and leash. Apply below to adopt James. We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
