My story

Currently in a vancouver foster home 🐾 Hi! I’m Candy — a little girl with a big heart 💕 I’m a 2-year-old small Terrier mix, weighing about 5 kg. For a long time, I lived all alone, tied up in the countryside… but one day, a kind rescuer found me and gave me a second chance at life. Now I’m safe at the Dreamtail Adoption Center, surrounded by love — and waiting for my forever family to find me. 🌈 I may be small, but I have so much love to give! I warm up to people quickly, even when I meet someone for the first time. When you look into my eyes or reach out your hand, I’ll gently wag my tail and come closer — because I trust you. 🤍 I get along well with other dogs too. Even if another pup gets grumpy, I don’t fight back — I simply take a step back and keep the peace. I’m a calm, gentle soul who just wants everyone to get along. I love snacks (my eyes sparkle when I see them!), but don’t worry — I’m never possessive or aggressive around food. I’m quiet and composed, even when I hear strange noises outside. That’s why I’d be such a good fit for apartment or indoor living. 🏡 I’m smart, clean, and quick to adapt. I prefer to do my business outside, and I like keeping my space tidy. When we go on walks, I’ll happily stay by your side, matching your pace and enjoying every step together. Though I’m small, my heart is big and full of love. I believe in people completely — and when you love me, I’ll give that love back twice as much. 💞 I’m ready to be someone’s lifelong companion — to share quiet mornings, cozy evenings, and everything in between.
