ALL ABOUT ME Name: Chunjang Age: 1 year old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Mix Colour: Black & Cream Weight: 9kg / 20lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated, No Known Health Issues   MY RESCUE STORY Hi, I’m Chunjang — a soft-hearted, shy girl with the sweetest soul. I don’t remember how I ended up in the city pound, but I do know I’m one of the lucky ones. I was rescued just in time and given a second chance. Now, I’m safe, cared for, and full of quiet hope that I’ll soon find a forever home where I can truly feel loved and secure.   MY HEALTH No known medical concerns   MY PERSONALITY As a Jindo mix, I have the loyalty, sensitivity, and emotional depth this breed is known for. I can be timid at first and take time to open up, but once I do, I form deep, lasting bonds. Sudden movements or loud sounds still make me nervous, and when I feel overwhelmed, I may try to run or hide. But with a patient, loving hand, I blossom into a snuggly, playful, and sweet companion who loves soft voices, treats, and feeling safe by your side.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I may be shy with strangers, but I’m gentle and never aggressive. I just need a little time to feel secure. Once I trust you, I’ll seek out affection, lean in for pets, and rest my head close to yours. Because of my timid nature, I must always be double-leashed (harness + collar) on walks, and a GPS tracker is highly recommended. With Dogs: I feel happiest with other dogs around! I’m playful, kind, and relaxed with dogs my size. A calm, confident dog sibling helps me feel more secure and shows me that the world isn’t so scary. With Cats: I haven’t met cats yet, but with gentle introductions, I may be able to live peacefully with one.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate energy level — I love playing and exploring outdoors, especially with another dog, and then curling up indoors for quiet time. I’m not high-energy or hyper — just sweet, observant, and softly curious.   TRAINING & HABITS Still learning leash manners — I may pull or freeze when unsure Startle easily in busy environments — calm, quiet areas are best Very quiet — I rarely bark Well-mannered with food and gentle around people and dogs Kennel-trained and calm in my crate Potty trained for outdoor bathroom use   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a calm, loving home where I can feel safe and be gently encouraged to come out of my shell. My ideal family would: Understand Jindo mix traits — loyalty, sensitivity, and independence Have patience and let me warm up at my own pace Use double-leashing and GPS for safety on walks Enjoy peaceful walks, cuddle time, and quiet companionship Have another calm dog sibling (preferred but not required)   SPECIAL NOTES I’ve been through a lot, but I still believe in kindness. I just need time, consistency, and love. Once I trust you, I’ll give you all of me — my loyalty, my sweetness, and my quiet joy. I’m ready to find the family who sees my gentle soul and is willing to wait for my heart to open.
