My story

AGE: 5 Months SEX: Female BREED: Husky Mix ENERGY LEVEL: Medium DOG FRIENDLY?: Yep! CAT FRIENDLY?: Yep! KID FRIENDLY?: Yep! Meet Sassy! This smart and playful girl is easygoing and always happy to go with the flow, tagging along with whatever her people are up to. She’s a big foodie, which makes training a breeze! She has already mastered a few tricks, including sit, stay, come, and paw. Sassy has adjusted wonderfully to city life; she’s unfazed by the hustle and bustle and loves to explore! She often accompanies her fosters on errands, happily meeting new people along the way, and patiently sits or lies down when waiting in line. She’s also travelled in the car with her, however she does have a tendency to get car sickness which is a work in progress. She’s great with guests and has been very sweet with the children she’s met. Sassy has also encountered cats both on walks and at the vet. She’s gentle and curious, often content to simply ignore them, and would likely do well sharing a home with one. She enjoys the company of other dogs, though she can be a little shy at first, especially around bigger or very energetic pups, but is interested in meeting smaller dogs and tends to pull towards them and give play cues. She’s also quite athletic and, as she gets a bit older, would likely make an excellent running buddy! At the end of the day, she’s happy to relax at home, and while she’s not overly snuggly, she’s a huge fan of belly rubs. Sassy has done wonderfully with both crate and potty training. She’s calm and content in her crate, whether her fosters are home or away, and she picked up house training within just a week! She’s still working on her leash manners as she tends to pull a bit and does have some prey drive, but she responds well to direction and is eager to please. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, and adventurous companion, Sassy might be your perfect match! She’s an adaptable girl who would fit well into many types of households and is ready to bring love, fun, and joy to her forever home.
