My story

Meet Munchie! 🐾 Munchie is a handsome, almost 7-year-old gentleman with a big heart to match his big frame. When he first arrived in his foster home, he was a bit shy and took his time adjusting—but once he felt safe, his curious and playful personality began to shine. Now, he enjoys exploring his surroundings and showing off his sweet, affectionate side. This lovable boy thrives on human attention and will happily soak up all the pets and companionship you have to offer. He’s done well around dogs in his foster home and is okay with children, making him a great fit for many families. However, Munchie prefers to be the king of his castle when it comes to other cats, as he can be a bit of a bully with feline friends. Munchie was surrendered when his previous owner moved out of state, and he’s ready for a fresh start with a family who will love him forever. He is currently on a reduced-calorie diet to help him slim down and stay healthy, and he’ll need a home committed to supporting his wellness journey. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a playful streak and lots of love to give, Munchie might just be your perfect match! 💛 Munchie is a short hair brown tabby who is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the ‘More About Us Button’ and then click on the ‘Adoption Application’ button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
