My story

Sweet Nellie, a 1.5-year-old Husky/Heeler mix, has done her job as a devoted mama to 6 beautiful pups — now it’s her turn to be cared for. 💕 She was recently surrendered with her babies, and with her pups now weaned, Nellie really needs a safe, loving foster home to rest, decompress, and learn what it means to be her own dog again. 🌼 What we know about Nellie: • Social and affectionate once she feels safe — bonds quickly to her people 🥹 • Warms up to other dogs (just needs slow intros) • Crate trained — but needs an enclosed crate (she’s got hops! 🐇) • Still learning house manners — including that tables aren’t for standing on 😅 • Smart, eager, and ready to blossom with some patience, training, and structure 📩 Apply to foster Nellie today: https://forms.gle/7dTuG94nZKd839c2A We
