Forky

My story

FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, DOB August 11, 2022 Forky is a reserved and shy cat that took a little time to open up and is still doing so, one step at a time. However, she is very easygoing, gentle, and calm. She doesn’t ask for cuddles, but if you go to her, she’ll be delighted and lie down to let you pet her. At night, when you go to bed, she comes in (if she is not already waiting there), walks around the bed a little, and then settles either next to you or at your feet. Her safe spot will probably be under the bed, especially if you have a soft rug. She likes spending her days there, but if you go to her she won’t run away. She doesn't enjoy being picked up or held. She’s still scared of sudden movements and noises, but that should improve with time as she becomes fully comfortable in her forever home. She enjoys playing with foam balls, but hasn’t shown much interest in other toys (yet?). She loves Fancy Feast Medley, belly rubs, playing with your feet at night, and sniffing you in the morning.
