My story

Meet Mocha a 1 year old Chihuahua mix who is almost 12 pounds   Background: I am a mystery as I was found living on the streets. A nice couple stepped in to help me find my family and then when no one claimed me I joined Help a Dog Smile Rescue:) Personality: If you are looking for a playful young man, check out my bio... I have two loves in life...playing and treats! I was so scared when I first came in but now....I am a bundle of fun and really want another playful dog for a friend! I am learning about leashes and being carried in a pouch...my foster mom says that I need pouch time as I was so scared of being held and was worried but well I am starting to settle down....and soon I should be a pro! Health: Mocha is up to date on all shots,  he is neutered and microchipped. Training: Mocha is housetrained and is learning how to use the doggy door...right now the flaps are tied up:) Ideal Home: My perfect, forever home would be with another little active dog for me to run and play with as well as a family that will be a little patient as I learn to trust them!! Can you commit to continuing my basic training and providing me with a lifetime home for the next 12+ years?  If so, please complete an application at the rescue's website,  www.helpadogsmile.org  and my foster family will be glad to give you a call to see if we might be a perfect match.  Thank you and woof woof!  Adoption Requirements: Mocha has an adoption fee is $350.
