Finley

My story

Finley is a nine-month-old, 19-pound white Boxer mix. This very handsome young dog came to Home Fur Good from Maricopa County, where the busy, noisy shelter environment was overwhelming for him. Because of his fear, Finley was placed on the E-list, through no fault of his own. Even when he was unsure and frightened, Finley never showed reactivity, only a quiet hope that someone would understand him. Since arriving at Home Fur Good, Finley has been blossoming. With patience, kindness, and consistency, his confidence has grown, and his true personality is beginning to shine. He is revealing himself to be a friendly, fun-loving pup who enjoys gentle play and positive interactions. Watching Finley discover that the world can be a safe and happy place has been incredibly rewarding. Finley would likely thrive in a calm, loving home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. A friendly canine companion could be a wonderful role model and help him feel secure. With the right family, Finley is sure to grow into a devoted and joyful companion.
