My story

Meet Leroy 💙 Leroy came to us as a kitten along with his siblings and their mom, Emma. While most of his littermates have already found their forever homes, Leroy and his sister Tillie are still waiting for the right family to come along. Leroy is the shiest of the group and will need a home filled with patience, understanding, and gentle consistency. He has made progress in foster care, but he is not a cat who will rush into affection. Sudden movements and unfamiliar situations can still make him nervous, and he will need time to feel truly safe. That said, Leroy is absolutely worth the wait. When given space and allowed to move at his own pace, his quiet, sweet personality begins to shine. He is deeply bonded with his sister Tillie, who is also shy but a bit more confident than Leroy, and the two would do wonderfully together in a calm, low-traffic home. If you are the kind of person who understands that trust is earned—and finds joy in watching a shy cat blossom—Leroy could be an incredibly rewarding companion. We do offer discounts for adopting more than one, so if both Leroy and Tillie have caught your eye, there is a reduced adoption fee to help keep this bonded pair together. Be Leroy’s hero.
