My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Zelle, or cash only. donate@yorkierescuehouston.org or, if you prefer: our fundraising platform, Zeffy Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.   This beautiful boy was surrendered when the family could no longer care for him.  Our vet staff said he was good for his exam and vaccines, but got a bit 'bitey' on his nail-trim and fecal. Some boys just don't want ya messin with they stuff! Benji is friendly and loving.  We have another male dog here that does not like him, but that's NOT Benji's fault.   He gets along with all the other dogs just fine!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 9:08 am
