My story

Rio is gorgeous tabby kitten who was rescued from an Amazon warehouse with her littermates. She is shy but curious and making progress every day. She may hiss at first, but food is the quickest way to her heart, and she'll happily come to you when treats are involved! Rio isn't a fan of being picked up, but if gently scooped up she will allow short cuddles and pets. She can be easily startled, so slow movements and a calm environment without young children will be ideal. With patience, consistency and a gentle touch Rio will continue to blossom into a loving companion. Rio’s adoption fee of $150 includes FVRCP vaccines, a microchip and spay surgery. Anthem Pets depends on amazing fosters to care for pets and if your adoption application is approved, the Meet & Greet for this pet will take place at the foster’s home in Cave Creek, AZ.
