My story

Meet Charlie! Charlie is a sweet tri color pit mix with an incredible enthusiasm for life and a heart full of love. He is a well behaved young puppy who is ready to share his happiness and affection in a forever home. Charlie came to us after being found in an abandoned house with injuries believed to be burns. Despite whatever he experienced early in life, Charlie is the happiest little boy. He will always have some scars, but he has clearly left that chapter behind and has nothing but love to give. Charlie absolutely loves other dogs and adores his foster sister. He enjoys playing, following her around, and then cuddling up close when he gets tired. He would thrive in a home with another dog to play with and learn from. While Charlie has not had much exposure to children yet, he would likely do well as a companion, especially with older kids since he is still learning boundaries as a growing puppy. Charlie is the perfect balance of energetic and calm. He loves to run, play, and explore, then happily finds a lap to cuddle into once his wiggles are gone. Belly rubs are a favorite. He is a big cuddle bug who enjoys being near his people, but he is also content entertaining himself with toys. A home that values both playtime and snuggle time would be ideal. A fenced in yard would be a bonus so he can safely burn off energy. Charlie is working on basic training and already knows sit. He is learning down and is extremely treat motivated and eager to please, which makes him a joy to train. He would love a family committed to continuing his training. He is also an absolute angel in his crate. Resilient, loyal, and playful, Charlie wakes up every day excited for life. He is a sweet little love bug who seems genuinely grateful for each day and each person he meets. His forever family will be incredibly lucky to experience life with him. He has endless love to give and cannot wait to share it. As an added bonus, Charlie has the cutest little puppy snores and even slept through his nail trim.
