Captain Tony

My story

Captain Tony is a bundle of personality! He has endless charm, plenty of energy, and loves to play, especially fetch. He’s also quite the toy hoarder and often hides his treasures in his not-so-secret spot behind the couch. Tony is a total goofball who believes the bottom shelf of the entertainment center is prime napping real estate. Most of all, he love, love, loves attention and affection. He would happily sit in one spot for hours as long as the pets keep coming, and if they stop, he’ll gently tap your arm with his paw as a reminder to continue. Belly rubs are another favorite, and he’ll gladly flop into your lap with all four of his stubby little legs in the air to get them. He has TONS of energy, but once he settles, he’ll curl up in your lap or snooze contentedly at your feet in the recliner. While he doesn’t have bed privileges in our home, we’re confident he would thrive in a house where nighttime snuggles are allowed. Captain Tony is exceptionally well-mannered in his crate and will quietly nap or chew on a toy when crated. He enjoys car rides and short walks (long ones aren’t his thing, he is a Frenchie, after all). He’s wonderful with new people and is happiest when they’re giving him affection. True to his breed, Tony comes with all the classic Frenchie quirks: snorts, snores, and full-body wiggles when he’s happy, which is nearly all the time. He would do well in either an apartment or a house. While he doesn’t need to be an only dog, he does prefer to be the center of attention and would thrive in a home where he can soak up all the love.
