My story

Cam Big Personality, No Personal Space Hi! I’m Cam — yes, that Cam. The one with the big personality, big feelings, and absolutely zero respect for personal space. I’m about a year old, around 30 pounds, and living my best teenage life. That means I’m equal parts sweet angel, wild child, and “why are you looking at me like that?” If you sit down, there’s a very good chance I’ll be sitting on you. Human-Obsessed in the Best Way I love people — like, truly love them. I don’t just want to be near you; I want to be on you. I thrive on affection, cuddles, and attention, and I’ll happily demand pets with my whole body if needed. If you’re looking for a dog who follows you everywhere and makes sure you’re never alone, I’m your guy. Snack-Motivated & Learning Fast I’m very food motivated, which makes me eager to learn. I’m currently working on my manners and picking things up quickly by watching my foster brother, Louie. I’m still figuring life out one zoomie at a time, but I’m trying hard and doing really well. Potty Training & Crate Time I’m working hard on potty training and doing great so far, especially since being neutered. I’ve learned how to use the doggie door, which has been a big win for me. I’m still young, but I’m making solid progress every day. Crate time isn’t my favorite, and I may chit-chat a little when I first go in, but I do settle down and relax — especially at bedtime. Once I’m calm, I’m comfortable and sleep well through the night. Let’s Talk Ears (Quick & Honest) I have a small mass starting to form in one ear. It has not entered the ear canal and will be addressed with a simple procedure scheduled for January 22. After that, I’ll just need weekly ear cleanings to keep everything healthy. The rescue has already helped me avoid a more serious surgery, and keeping up with ear care will help me stay feeling my best. Dog-Friendly & Social Butterfly I love other dogs and want to be friends with everyone. I’ve been to adoption events and tried to make friends with every dog there — even the grumpy ones. I don’t take things personally; I just want to play and be part of the fun. Family Fit Kids are welcome! I’d do best with children ages 7 and up, since I love toys and younger kids might not always understand that. I’d also enjoy a home with other dogs to play with and keep me company. Adventure-Ready Sidekick Hiking? Yes. Camping? Yes. Beach days? Absolutely. Backyard BBQs and car shows? Count me in. I’m young, active, and ready to join a family that enjoys getting out and having fun together. Is Cam Your Match?
