My story

Oslo can be shy, nervous, and a little vocal when meeting new people but once he is comfortable and after he`s been given a couple treats he becomes super affectionate and will press up against you for all the pets. Oslo also loves to play outside in the snow whether it`s fetch or just running around to burn off energy.Oslo would do best with a patient, understanding family who will let him set the pace. In return he offers loyalty, affection, and a whole lot of play.IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOME SIZE: 54 LBSHOME TYPE: House, fenced yard, no large apartment buildings as he can be quite nervous and vocal.CHILDREN: Yes- Older children with large dog experience due to nervousness and pushy behaviour.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS: Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introductionOTHER DOGS: Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:Very high; will need lots of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY: First time dog owner possible, husky experience, working dog experience, husky research, working dog research.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS: 2 In person training sessions to work on socializing, basic training, and manners.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Can be nervous of new people and likes to take his time to warm up.
