Meet Betty — 12 Years Young and Ready for Love 💛 Betty is a gentle senior sweetheart who somehow missed out on the soft landing every dog deserves… until now. Found as a stray and almost overlooked simply because of her age, Betty is proof that love doesn’t expire — it just gets sweeter. She’s not here for long walks or wild adventures. Betty’s ideal day looks more like slow strolls, cozy naps, and resting her head on your lap while you go about your day. Stairs are tough for her, and she can’t walk far, but what she can do is love deeply, quietly, and wholeheartedly. Betty is affectionate in the purest way. She wants to be close, to lean on you, to follow you from room to room just to make sure you’re still there. She might let out a little cry when you leave her sight — or a signature “woooo” when she’s excited — but she settles quickly and sleeps peacefully through the night. She just finds comfort in knowing she’s not alone. She’s calm with other dogs, gentle with cats, easy on leash, and free of any aggressive or guarding behaviors. House training is mostly there, though she can’t hold it long — a small trade-off for a senior who has so much love left to give. Betty doesn’t need perfection. She needs patience, softness, and someone who understands that older dogs love just as hard — sometimes harder.
