Effie

My story

Currently fostered in Texas. Effie is Apx two years old and 20 pounds. We believe she is either a rat terrier or Jack Russell terrier mix. She came to the rescue heart worm positive but has been treated and will be ready to go after Feb 6th. She is a really good dog in many ways however she shows many terrier hunting breed qualities and does have a high prey drive to chase small animals like chicken, cats and can be quite dominant and plays too rough with small dogs as well . She would do best in a home with dogs her own size or larger. Or as an only dog. She does have a lot of good qualities. She is very social. She walks on a leash perfectly. She has good potty manners. She loves all humans, including children. She is a happy , clean, sweet, well mannered dog that is very people pleasy and will be easy to train and acclimate to a new home and life. She is a perfect blend of active , playful and fun mixed with huge cuddle bug couch potato. She loves belly rubs and is very submissive with people.
