My story

 QUICK FACTS  Name: Merona Age: 9 months old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Terrier Jindo mix Color: Black, White, Brown  Weight: 11kg / 24lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was rescued just in time from the euthanasia list at a city pound, where space was too tight to keep me. I’m not sure how I ended up there, but thanks to the kindness of my rescuers, I was given a second chance at life. Now safe, loved, and cared for, I’m ready to leave my past behind and find my forever family to love and cherish me unconditionally.    MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Spayed & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  I’m a friendly girl who adores people and gets along well with dog friends too! I’m incredibly resilient, and staff and volunteers often comment on how quickly I adapt to new environments. I’m full of love and charm, and any family lucky enough to have me will be gaining a loyal, joyful companion who brightens every day!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I absolutely love people! I get so excited to greet new friends and can’t get enough of pets and affection. I haven’t met many kids yet, but with my gentle and friendly personality, I’m sure I’ll do wonderfully with respectful little humans. Once I feel safe and comfortable, I’ll happily show my belly and even let you pick me up for some extra snuggles! · With Dogs: I love my dog friends too! I’m always excited to greet new pups and play with them. I get along well with dogs of all sizes, and I’m such a sweet, easygoing friend that even when other dogs get a little pushy, I simply walk away and keep the peace. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a moderate energy level and love to run around, explore, and discover new things in my environment. After all my adventures, I’m more than happy to come inside and snuggle up for some cozy, relaxing downtime.    TRAINING & HABITS  I can get a little excited and pull on the leash at times, but I generally follow my handler’s lead really well. I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs, and I’m usually a quiet pup, though I might give a little bark when I want attention. I’m still learning to rest calmly in my kennel, and I’m fully potty-trained, using both indoor pee pads and outdoor spaces. With a bit of patience and love, I’m learning every day and becoming an even sweeter, well-mannered companion!    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever    SPECIAL NOTES  I’m a sweet, gentle girl who adores people and enjoys spending time with my dog friends. I’m curious and playful, but I also love cozy snuggles once I’m indoors. I’m smart, eager to learn, and respond beautifully to gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. Whenever volunteers and staff visit the care facility, I’m always eager for extra pets and attention—I just can’t get enough of human companionship! With patience and love, I’ll blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your days with joy, cuddles, and endless love.
