My story

Hello! My name is Addi!If you love Livestock Guardian breeds, I`m the dog for you! I will do my job and I`ll do it well: I have a very keen eye and am always on the lookout, letting you know with big, healthy barks when I see something or someone! But not to worry, I`m very friendly with strangers and other dogs. I`m not so true to my breed in that I have a lot of energy, and I really love to jump up to say hello. I would happily spend the whole afternoon running and jumping in the snow! But I`m also affectionate and snuggly, and enjoy cuddling up with my humans.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers should be ok; younger kids make me nervous.OTHER DOGS: Yes, I would LOVE a friend to run and play with!CATS: No, I like to chase cats.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: My preference would be a rural property. But in a suitable urban environment, I will require a fenced yard so I can spend as much time as I like playing and burying my face in the snow!HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Rural is ideal, or anywhere with a fenced yard where a barking dog wouldn`t cause problems.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, though I am active so being alone for a full work day might not set me up for success to start.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium-high.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!
