My story

Hi! I’m Boots! I’m a five-month-old, 14-pound happy-go-lucky puppy. My rescuers think I’m a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. Have you ever heard the term "velcro dog"? That’s exactly what I am! When my foster mom is sitting, I’m her lap dog. When she’s standing, I’m her shadow. At bedtime, I cuddle up right next to her. I’m very smart and learning all the "good boy" basics, like where to potty and what items are not toys. I love learning new things, especially because it means I get more treats! I’m having a great time meeting new people and look forward to making dog friends once I’m fully vaccinated. I am currently available for "foster to adopt," so please consider making me a part of your forever family. Boots is neutered, microchipped, and has one remaining distemper-parvo vaccine. The rescue will cover the cost of this final vaccine at our clinic. Boots’ adoption fee is $350, which helps cover medical expenses for the rescue.
