My story

 QUICK FACTS  Name: Yangsoon Age: Estimated to be 4 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Corgi Mix Color: White Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I came from a very difficult situation and spent my early life living in a small crate with another dog, with little room to move or stretch my legs. That was all I had ever known. Thankfully, kind rescuers saw my situation and stepped in to give me a second chance. Now I’m safe and learning what freedom, care, and comfort feel like, and I’m ready to find a forever family who will shower me with the love, patience, and attention I’ve always deserved.    MY HEALTH  • Spayed & healthy with no known health issues • All vaccinations up-to-date    MY PERSONALITY  I’m a total cutie patootie—and even cuter in person! When I first arrived at the care facility, I was scared and acted defensively to protect myself. But in just a couple of days, I realized I was finally safe, and my sweet, loving personality began to shine through. I have a big appetite, I’m eager to please, and I truly adore human affection. I came from a rough, neglected past and didn’t get to experience much love growing up, but now I’m learning what it feels like to be cared for and to socialize with both people and dog friends. Every day, I’m becoming more confident, loving, and ready for a bright future with my forever family.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I may be just a teeny bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly—especially with tasty treats and gentle affection! During my profile photoshoot, I happily approached staff and volunteers, wagging my tail and soaking up all the love and snacks. I was clearly having the best time! Once comfortable, I enjoy being picked up and love sharing sweet, happy moments with my people. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dog friends, but I like to take my time before jumping into play and prefer doing my own thing. I generally get along very well with dogs of a similar size and enjoy calm, respectful canine companionship. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit!    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a lovely moderate energy level—I enjoy spending time outdoors running around and exploring, then happily curling up indoors to rest and snuggle once I’ve had my fun.    TRAINING & HABITS  I walk nicely on leash and do a great job following my handler’s lead. I don’t guard my food with people, though I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby during meals. I have a big appetite and tend to eat quickly, but with continued guidance and consistency, I’m learning to slow down. This habit comes from my past, where food wasn’t always guaranteed, and I’m making great progress as I learn that meals are now safe and plentiful. I may bark briefly when I want attention, but I settle down quickly. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and prefer to do my potty outdoors. With patience and love, I continue to grow more relaxed and confident every day.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself, and a stable environment. • A family that is patient with me throughout and continue to provide me with basic training and socialization. • A family that enjoys outdoor & indoor time together. • A family that will love and cherish me forever. • A family that understands my love for food and continues to guide me with patience and love so I learn to become more patient when other dogs are nearby.    SPECIAL NOTES  I’m a truly special girl who deserves nothing but the absolute best.
