My story

A shy guy who comes alive with a friendStefan is a quieter dog who may need a little time and encouragement to show you who he really is. On his own, he can come across as unsure and easily spooked by new things, especially during everyday transitions like walking through doors. He’s not aggressive—just lacking confidence.What’s interesting about Stefan is how much he changes when he feels comfortable. When reunited with a dog he knew, he became playful, confident, and much more relaxed. That tells us there’s a fun, social dog in there once he feels safe enough to let it out. He appears to enjoy other dogs and may benefit from a calm canine friend to help him settle into home life.Stefan will likely do best with a patient adopter who won’t expect him to be bold on day one. A quieter home, steady routine, and gentle handling would probably suit him well. If you like the kind of dog who takes a minute but is worth getting to know, come meet Stefan.We are open to the public Tuesday - Sunday (1PM - 5PM)! No Appointments required!
