Scout

My story

Scout was born on June 1, 2025 in a litter of 5 puppies. She is sweet and loving, playful and curious. When we brought Scout home, we realized that our home, with tile floors and stairs, was going to make her life very difficult. Though she doesn't have any known medical conditions after being checked by our vet, she has trouble walking on our tile floors and on hardwood flooring. She would do best in a carpeted home where she would be able to run, jump, and play. She has no trouble walking outside on concrete or pavement, or in the grass in our yard. Scout loves to play, and her love language is definitely physical touch. She likes to be close, to cuddle, and to sleep in the bed with her owners. She is housebroken and knows how and when to go outside. We have another older dog who has not adapted to us bringing Scout home. We thought a companion would be a good idea for him, and as it turns out, she loves to play and he has no interest in playing, or in her in general.
