This little guy is a whirlwind of joy, ready to sprinkle your life with tail-wagging fun and snuggles galore. Friendly, cheerful, and full of spunky charm, Bakie is the kind of Valentine who doesn’t just steal hearts… he delivers them with flair! Bakie loves a good cuddle as much as a playful romp, and he’s always ready to make every day feel like a party of puppy love. With his happy-go-lucky spirit, mischievous sparkle, and adorable enthusiasm for life (and treats, all the delicious treats!), he’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a skip in your step.This Valentine’s Day, skip the chocolates and adopt Baki and get a forever friend who’s all heart!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:27 lbs. and looking to get to a lower healthy-weight gradually. HOME TYPE:House or Townhouse- Bakie can be vocal at times, so would need to go to a home without shared walls. CHILDREN:Yes- Mid-aged or older children (young children would not be a good fit). Bakie can be jumpy and pushy at times. CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatibleACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible as long as prepared to work on difficult behaviours such as separation anxiety. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least one in-person training session to work on socialization, basic training, manners and possible separation anxiety. HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Bakie is very fun loving and enjoys people.
