My story

Meet Star Star is a beautiful 3–4-year-old sweetheart weighing about 45 pounds, and just like her name, she shines in her own special way. She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she knows you, she becomes the sweetest, most loyal cuddle buddy you could ever ask for. Star bonds deeply with her people and loves nothing more than being close to those she trusts. In her foster home, Star has proven to be a wonderful house guest. She is fully potty trained and has not needed to be crated. She settles in nicely and enjoys being part of the family routine. Star absolutely loves car rides and will happily hop in for an adventure. Walks are one of her favorite activities, and she also enjoys playing with her foster dog siblings. She thrives around other dogs and would likely love a canine companion in her forever home. Star previously lived in a home with cats before coming into foster care, so she may be able to coexist with feline friends as well. Because Star can be a little shy at first, she’ll need a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. But once she blossoms, you’ll see just how incredibly loving and devoted she truly is. Her gentle nature, loyal heart, and love of cuddles make her an amazing companion.
