My story

 QUICK FACTS  Name: Terious Age: 8 months old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo mix Color: Brown Weight: 13kg / 28.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was just a baby when I first entered a city pound, and I spent most of my puppyhood there. When space became limited, I was placed on the euthanasia list—but thankfully, kind rescuers saw my situation and stepped in just in time. Now I’m safe and ready to find my forever family and begin the happy chapter I’ve been waiting for.    MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  I’m even cuter in person! Volunteers and staff always say I remind them of a little teddy bear. Even though I spent much of my puppyhood in a city pound, I never let that dim my bright, positive spirit! I have the softest puppy fur, love munching on yummy treats, and enjoy playing with my toys. I adore interacting with people and showing off my sweet personality. And did I mention my killer smile? It’s guaranteed to melt your heart!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I’m very friendly with people and love greeting new friends and interacting with them! I truly enjoy receiving affection and pets. I do prefer not to be picked up right away, though—I just need a little time to build trust and form a bond first. Once I feel comfortable, I’ll happily show you my sweet and loving side. · With Dogs: I’m friendly with my dog friends too! I love playing with dogs of all sizes, and playtime is truly one of my favorite parts of the day. Whether it’s running around or just goofing off together, I always have the best time with my furry pals! · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit!    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a moderate energy level – I love spending time outside for play and adventures, and afterwards, I enjoy cozying up inside for some well-deserved snuggles and relaxation.    TRAINING & HABITS  I can get a little excited and pull on the leash at times, but overall I follow my handler’s lead very well—and I’m improving my leash skills every day! I’m a quick learner, and volunteers and staff often compliment how well-behaved I am (I don’t even rip up my blanket!). I potty both on pee pads and outdoors. I rarely bark, only occasionally when I want attention. I don’t guard my food around people, though I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby during meals. With guidance and consistency, I continue to grow into an even more wonderful companion.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout. I’m a young pup still and I will need continuedsocial desensitization and basic obedience training • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever    SPECIAL NOTES  I know my perfect family is out there, and any home would be lucky to have me as part of the family! I guarantee you’ll fall in love with me right away—my cuteness and goofy personality are hard to resist. I have a big appetite, which makes me eager to please and quick to learn.
