My story

Hello! My name is Wellington!I`m a fun, loving boy who enjoys long walks where I can sniff. A human who doesn`t mind standing still and lingering while I work my nose would be a dream come true! I am nervous of strangers and take longer to warm up to new men compared to women. I would love to join a home with patient and kind humans who will help me feel safe around strangers and learn that they are fun, not scary. I am an active dude and I love play and training. I`m super smart so if you like training too, we will have a blast for sure! If you have a dog friend in the home, that would be amazing for me to have a buddy to romp around with!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers should be ok. No young kids given my sensitive nature.OTHER DOGS: Yes, one that likes to play and won’t mind that I might be vocal with some grumbles as we play.CATS: No, given my energetic nature, I may be too much for a kitty.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended so I have a safe space to run and leap!HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No apartment buildings as I may bark at people if they are too close.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, though a full work day alone wouldn’t be ideal.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium-high.
