My story

All of his brothers and sisters are named after sweet desserts… but Empanada likes to keep things interesting. He may not always be sugary, but don’t be fooled, sometimes he can be savory. Empanada is your classic energetic puppy, full of zoomies, curiosity, and big enthusiasm for everything life has to offer. Toys must be investigated, rooms must be explored, and every new person is clearly someone he needs to say hello to right away. He brings excitement, laughter, and just the right dash of puppy mischief wherever he goes.But when the excitement settles, his sweeter side shines. He loves cozy snuggles, gentle affection, and being close to his people, warm, comforting, and impossible not to love!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:9lbs and still growing!HOME TYPE:House or apartment.CHILDREN:Yes - children with large dog experience.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:Very high; will need excessive amounts of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible, large dog experience.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least 3 in person training sessions to work on basic training, basic manners, and socialization.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social once comfortable.
